Thank you to our Garden Sponsors and Donors

We would like to thank everyone who has donated funds to make this garden possible. This

beautiful and historically meaningful garden would not be possible without ongoing support from

our community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the University of Georgia Master Gardener Extension

Volunteers for their tireless dedication to the Major Ridge Demonstration Garden at the

Chieftains Museum. We are especially thankful for their thoughtful efforts to represent the types

of plants that Major Ridge might have had on his plantation, as well as those significant to

Cherokee culture and heritage. Through careful plant selection, they are helping preserve and

share a vital piece of history. In addition to their hard work maintaining the garden, these

volunteers have gone above and beyond by donating both their time and personal resources,

and by raising funds to improve the garden year after year. We are deeply appreciative of their

passion and commitment.

We would like to thank past supporters who have donated in honor of
