The Rome International Festival is an event intended to celebrate cultural diversity by promoting an understanding of diversity among various cultures and ethnic groups in Rome and Floyd County. The one-day event will showcase cultural displays, food, fashion, arts, crafts, and cultural entertainment. The event will be held at Bridge Point Plaza in downtown Rome from 11:00-3:00 on March 29, 2014. This event is free and open to the public. Participation is encouraged by members of our community who wish to enhance cultural understanding. Chieftains is sponsoring a craft table for attendees to learn about Cherokee language.
