The theme for this homeschool day is “Cherokee Crafts.” Students will learn about the types of materials the Cherokee people use for recreation by making clay beads. They will also learn the meaning and importance of certain colors by creating beaded bracelets. Finally, students will learn about how certain crafts are made by completing a weaving activity.
Designed for students ages 8-12. The program fee is $2/child and $5/adult. Students must be pre-registered no later than one day in advance. Only 20 spots available! *Note: a parent/guardian must accompany the student during the class. Click here to fill out the registration form and email it to chmuseum@bellsouth.net to sign up.
