“Haunted Ballads by the River, featuring the beautiful music of Lynn West Baines and Phil Helton.  Hear the tragic old ballads as they were sung long ago.  Many of these were known as “murder ballads, ” as many involved a murder or two!  Songs such as “The Long Black Veil” and “Knoxville Girl.” Bring your lawn chairs and blankets as we will be behind Chieftains around the campfire.  Gary Greene will share a frightening story and we suggest everyone who attends to please wear black.  In the event of bad weather we will do the program inside the museum.  Adults- $5.00, Senior Citizens-$3.00, Students- $2.00.  Chieftains members- free.
