The GA Trail of Tears Association’s General Meeting will be held July 10th at 10:30 am via Zoom. Chieftains Museum’s Executive Director Heather Shores’ presentation will be about “The Life of Major Ridge.” A native of Floyd County, Shores holds a B.A. and an M.A. in History/Public History from the University of West Georgia. In 2013, she became Executive Director of The Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home.
All of these meetings are free and open to the public. Also, you are encouraged to share the zoom link for this meeting with any interested friends.
