Chieftains will host an Artifact Identification Day on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in honor of Georgia Archaeology Month. Archaeologist Dave Davis, Archaeology Project Manager for the Museum, will be on site to identify the history of artifacts which are brought in.

            Current members of the museum are granted free admission and may bring one artifact for free. Patrons will be admitted with regular admission and may bring one artifact for free. After the first free artifact, every artifact thereafter may be submitted to Mr. Davis for $2 per artifact.
