Annual Low Country Boil & Barbeque

Date(s) – Aug 09 2019
6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home will host an evening of food and fun at the annual Low Country Boil & Barbeque event scheduled for Friday, August 9th at the Palladium at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds.

Doors open for the event at 6:30pm, which features an open bar and an all-you-can-eat buffet of low country boil and barbeque provided by The Season Events served at 7:30pm.

Attendees will be able to choose from a variety of silent and live auction items at the event. The silent auction will be conducted in the style of a raffle with individuals purchasing tickets that they may put towards each silent auction item. Winners for the silent auction will be chosen at random from these tickets.

This year’s live auction will be led by auctioneer Lynn Dempsey once again and will feature unique experiences including four passes for a NASCAR race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in spring 2020 with a meet and greet with driver Chris Buescher.

Tickets for the Low Country Boil & Barbeque are $80 for individuals, with tables for 8 available at $640. Portions of each event ticket sale are tax-deductible. The Low Country Boil & Barbeque is sponsored by the Friends of Chieftains Museum with all proceeds benefiting the museum.
