The Rome Area Heritage Foundation is hosting a special Holiday Tour of Historic Houses of Worship on Saturday, Dec. 3rd from 3:00-6:00pm, highlighting nine different spaces during their holiday best.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church (select hours)
St. Paul AME Church
St. Peter’s Episcopal Church
All money raised from the event will benefit the participating congregations and historic preservation initiatives through the Rome Area Heritage Foundation.
All tours begin at Dogwood Books (240 Broad St.), where you will claim your wristbands and grab tour information. Guests can go in any order they want, and can hop aboard the Toonerville Trolley if they so desire, which will go in one continuous circuit for the three hours of the event.
Spaces for the event can be purchased with cash/check Monday to Friday at the Rome-Floyd Visitor Center across from Steak ‘n’ Shake, and Monday to Saturday at Dogwood Books on Broad Street. Tickets are $25 each, with 11 and under attending for FREE.
