Museum Contributes to Berry College Constitution Day Display

Chieftains Museum has contributed to the display that Berry College has created for Constitution Day in the Memorial Library on their campus. Created in 2004, Constitution Day  recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become citizens of the United States. It is observed on September 17, the day the United States Constitutional Convention signed the document in 1787.

Beginning on September 17 and continuing throughout the week, the Berry College Constitution Day display will also have a section comparing and highlighting the Cherokee Constitution and the U.S. Constitution by the dates in which they were written.
