Come to Chieftains 2nd Cherokee and Celtic Festival for lots of historic fun!  The Cherokee and the Celtic people were connected by a common culture.  Many Cherokees have the names of their Scottish, Irish or Welsh ancestors such as Vann, Ross and many more.  We will have  Highland Games overseen by River City Dreams, Celtic music, Pow Wow Dance,  Cherokee music and culture, both Cherokee and Celtic vendors, Cherokee and Celtic as well as American food vendors, speakers sharing information about the  Celtic and the Cherokee, weapons on display, storytelling,  Game and hands on activities for the kids, Bonnie Knees contest, and much more!  .  This is a great fun day of fun and surprises for all!  Wear  your kilt and get $1.00 off the price of admission, you might even win a prize if you are chosen the winner of the Bonny Knees Contest!  Children may enter the Fairest Fairy or Wee Highland Warrior Contest.  Children who compete must come dressed in costume to get a chance at the prize!  Children who come to be in the contest get in free with paying Adults.  Adults-$5.00, children 12 and under- $3.00, Chieftains members- free
