April 1- starting at 7:00 p.m., join us for the 3rd Big Fibber Contest Join us as we see who is the biggest fibber in town. April Fool’s Day is all about tricking people, and YOU can help the biggest trickster in Floyd County! Anyone over age 18 may sign up to fib, but you have to sign up no later than March 25 by calling Debby at 706-291-9494. The audience will pick the winner by secret ballot. Everyone come and vote for your favorite! Lots of old time fun! We encourage the tellers and the audience to wear something “fun” to add to the evening! Please wear nothing inappropriate as this is a family audience.
Adults- $4.00, children under 12, $2.00,
fibbers and members-free admission.
Rules: 1. Fib should be 3 to 5 minutes long.
2. No fussin’, cussin’, telling stories of a vulgar nature or wearing clothes that aren’t appropriate for a family audience.
3.Tellers must be 18 years old and older.
4. All tales must be original or your version.
5. No members of the legal profession or politicians, because they are too experienced!
Lots of fun for the whole family! Come and fib or just listen and support your local fibbers!
